My name is Jaimie Lee Peterson and I’m an art therapist by day and wannabe graphic memoirist by night. I am working on a long-form graphic memoir called Diner Drawings, which is about growing up with my Dad, an artist and homeless Vietnam Vet. We used to meet in diners and make art when I was a teenager, which inspired me to become an artist and art therapist. As I write this story, I started sharing some of these stories as small comics.
